I am Karoline, 21 years old and from Denmark

I like to eat cup noodles with my "always-in-the-bag" chopsticks, dance, sing (although I know about zero lyrics) and outdoor sports eg kayaking, diving, snorkelling etc

I suck at about any technology there exist, everything that includes a ball, math and pull-ups

I have bad taste in music and loves to listen to it out loud, preferable with some lame dance moves involved

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The kick-off of my gapyear was a trip to London where I volunteered at a holiday centre for disabled people. Every Thursday was kareokee-night and I will never forget that joy, the laugther and the smiles it was to dance around with the other volunteers and the guests in wheelchairs. Especially one of the guests was a a true firework! Eventhough he couldn't communicate to us through words we all had an amazing evening!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I left Denmark in July 2016 hoping to find out what life is like "out there" and get a sense of where I was actually going besides just to school.

I am so glad I did it and have gotten to see a lot of different cultures (living with a Japanese family in Canada, volunteering with disabled in London and travelling Southeast Asia ) but I am not finished exploring and the different lifestyle
