Karol: I believe I was born with a wild traveler soul. Since I started to understand a bit of the world, I wanted to pack everything and through myself into new adventures. I love to stay in the wild nature and as a good Brazilian, I love to stay close to the sea. But if the task is to go deep into an urban trip, I will be glad to do so. But traveling doesn't mean just to know new places. The best of it are the people. This is the reason. I'm passionate about people. Having a deep conversation with someone from a completely different world of mine is a trip in itself.
I also love to try new flavors. And it's another reason that pushes me to travel. The history and culture behind cooking fascinate me. Maybe that's because I'm from a family of awesome cooks. I'd be very pleased to present you some of the delicious Brazilian dishes.
I will not ask you to mention any code to be at my place. I believe we can identify the real surfers in another way. Just send me a request, to turn things easier.

Lucas: I am a doctorate student of Computational Engineering [and also Applied Mathematics, Continuum Mechanic, but I'm not a nerd :) ]. Love to try local food when traveling, know the people, have a good conversation. Beer is my favorite beer. Trying the best beers of the country I'm visiting is a special part of the trip. After that, come whiskey and wine, not necessarily in this order.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've never used CS until coming to Germany and just in our first experience we could know people who made all the difference in the beginning of our new life. That made us see the real philosophy behind this wonderful CS world. And we promise to ourselves never to get out again.
Being with locals allows us to go really deep in the people history and that's what we seek when traveling.
We also host for the sake of getting along with interesting people, who we are sure can teach us a lot about the world.

Karol: I can teach you Portuguese and would love to hear about your own language. Learning to play an instrument is something that is in my plans for years but didn't start yet. if you know how to play one, it would be nice get some lessons. I also started to learn photography and it is a passion of mine.
