About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We're in love with our city and want to learn how to love yours too. We're looking to make real connections and have fun while doing it.
ABOUT ME
Matt and I plan to travel and host together. We are a couple who has lived in South Minneapolis for the last few years. We live with two roommates, between 8-12 chickens, and a cat named Nina. We're looking to have genuine experiences and connections with our guests and with our hosts, and to share the incredible community we've built here.
PHILOSOPHY
Karoline: Work hard, keep moving, treat others with respect, and recognize the efforts of others.
Matt: will fill this out soon.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We're headed out into the world to travel, so our couch is no really ours to offer. Contact me if you're interested and stuck, though, because I can maybe connect you with roommates or friends.
Interests
I, Karoline, am a big fan of playing sports and games, and avid knitter. Matt works at a local non-profit, and is basically our house's version of Leslie Knope. We both love our beer and coffee, board games and potlucks with our friends, and figuring out how to get the biggest yield out of our garden every year. We love knowing about what's going on in our city, what's new where, and talking about & sharing our place with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Karoline: The most amazing thing I've seen was on my study abroad, a sailing classroom and science research ship. A storm gathering on the pacific ocean- and the wild feeling of furling a jib way out in the front of the boat as the winds and waves picked up.
Matt will fill this out soon.
Teach, Learn, Share
Karoline can teach you knitting, the rules and joy that come with frisbee games, some german language skills, and anything you might want to know about Geology. Matt can teach Excel (we tease him about this, but he's actually the best spreadsheeter pretty much ever) and has a lot of knowledge about running and managing nonprofits.
