About Me
Just like most people on this platform I am a keen traveler who desires to see as much of the world as I can.
I enjoy reading, watching movies, sculptures and prose. Although this might give off an impression that I am a pretentious prick, when it comes to traveling I'm the complete opposite! At the moment I'm hitchhiking through France along the west coast. I slept in beaches, walked through numerous villages and I just enjoy using the time I have challenging myself physically and mentally. It makes me feel alive, you know?
Although I enjoy expensive food, luxurious places and comfort, for the time being I want to go on a journey that you can't just buy pre-planned! Hitchhiking, couchsurfing, sleeping in a tent anywhere is the way to go.
Food. I love food. I love eating it just a bit more than I like cooking, but I love both nevertheless! I loved them both so much I even graduated culinary school. But philosophy seemed even more interesting and that is what I'm doing now.
Diet-wise I'm an ecoterian - I eat all food that's free aka I am against wasting food and when it comes to my cooking I prefer using ingredients that can be found locally, usually avoiding meat due to its abundance in western cuisine.
As a philosophy student I enjoy having conversations with people from different backgrounds. Different cultures lead to different perspectives and that sparks so many interesting conversations! It is always interesting to evaluate the basis of my own beliefs and question basically everything! As Nietzsche once said: "there is no truth only truths".
