About Me

I'm passionate about plants, humans, nature, activism. Huge into anti racism, anti sexism, anti homophobia and anti xenophobia. I spend a lot of time reading, writing, doing art, exploring nature or watching documentaries.

My partner, Omar, is currently traveling with me. He is passionate about music, food, all cultures and political psychology.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as I found this site I started off couch surfing right away. I let loads of travelers stay on my couch and will be doing so through this site soon as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been a total blast! The variety of humans across the US has been so entertaining and educational.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies-Waking Life, 13th, Life in a Day, Friday, anything with David Attonburogh

music- Wing nut Dishwashers Union, Explosions in the Sky, Animal Collective, most anything really

books-The Legacy of Luna by Julia Butterfly Hill, The Gypsies by Jan Yoors, You Can't Win by Jack Black, Trauma and Recovery, Sisters of the Road

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitchhiked all over America as a solo female traveler for about 4 years; survived, cried, learned, loved and will probably do it again sometime :-D

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to teach, learn and share through story telling about life experiences and I'm pretty much an open book. Can teach some hula hooping tricks (I don't hoop regularly but I know a few sweet moves), how to book bind, some plant knowledge, meditation practices, interactive games, how to make a worm that grows with straw paper and water ;)

I want to learn about all cultures, human behavior, new games, ukelele, recipes, what's happening politically in your city.
