ABOUT ME

My friends tease me that I am a typical West Aussie chick - easy going, down to earth, laid back - I agree! I have an insatiable desire to travel and am currently living in London and making a career change from Naturopathy to Photography. (although becasue of my living situation I am unable to host here). There are sooooo many amazing things to do in this life and I love to experience new things, learn new skills, meet and get to know people. I have really varied interests from scuba diving to rock climbing, trekking to yoga, african drumming to fire spinning. Basically - I'm an experience junkie and a lifetime is not enough! I used to run my own Naturopathy business in Perth (which is using herbs and nutrition and natural things to help people with health problems)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that life is what you think. You can change your thoughts and attitude about anything and everything you feel and experience and interpret. We choose our thoughts and these determine our mood, our experience of life, our interactions with others and view of the world and life. Of course it's really hard to change the way you think sometimes, especially if you have been thinking a certain way for your whole life - but I continually try to watch my thoughts and not get too carried away with them!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: jazz, reggae, funk fusion. The Bees, The cat empire, melody club, sissor sisters, ben harper, John butler, money M, fat freddy's drop, manu chao, michael Franti - these are what Im listening to at the moment, am Im always on the 'listen-out' for new tunes that make me want to put on my dancing shoes!

Movies - Im not a huge movie buff, but I do like cult classics like pulp fiction, train spotting and Napoleon Dynamite, also funnies with Ben stiller and co, and anitmations.

Books - love a great novel - recent stand outs are Shantaram by Gregory david roberts, eat love pray by Elizabeth Gilbert, the curious incident of the dog in the night by Mark haddon, anybody out there by marion keyes.
