About Me

[2018 Update]

Kia Ora! Mabuhay! I've been a CSer since 2013, and somehow I disappear like a dust in the wind (does it sound like a lyric, aye?) came 2015, when I moved to New Zealand for a complete life reboot. Now, I'm a wife and a mother to almost 2 year old wee boy. I say, life has completely changed and but have to say I never lost the spirit of a wanderlust, well few considerations have to be made as I have a bub on tow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always live up to this quote:

"Come as a stranger and leave as a friend."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met incredible, energetic and inspiring people that somehow changed the way I see and treat myself. They made me realized that we may be different in every way but we all run after one thing -- the therapeutic happiness it brings when you help a stranger.

Interests

Your story, the real ones. I observe and listen.

-------

Any outdoor activities which has to do with going against gravity. I think I came to right place...NEW ZEALAND! Ugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

I kept for many years a book called "48 Laws of Power" and "Purpose-Driven Life", unfortunately, I read them on random pages.
Never started, never finished.
I don't go for specific music genre.
Movies, anything, but I don't go for intellectual movies, I am simply dumb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing thing I've done?

Doing a good turn for a random stranger I meet.

Amazing thing I've seen?

The goodness of the heart in every CSer I meet. I'm lucky, least to say.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you few Filipino useful phrases (sorry, cursing will have to come later. LOL!) and cook Filipino food as well.

I want to learn the Kiwi culture and its people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Definitely, my precious time and wonderful self. The rest are arbitrary.
