HELLO CS!!

My name is Karson and I am currently on a 14 month adventure around the world with my boyfriend Brendon!

What has caused us to pursue such a long travel? BUCKET LISTING! We both have Bucket Lists that are over 300 items long, and we only have one life to complete it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Brendon and I truly believe there are 2 ways of traveling. The first is for those who want to stay in a hotel then visit all the touristy places and leave. We don't believe in that. We LOVE LEARNING! The only way to travel is to immerse yourself in the culture, get to know the people, try the food, and get off the beaten path.

That's why we are on CS. We do not want to spend our next 14 months in hostels, we want a chance to interact with the community!

We have also realized that we only have one life. At the end of my time, I don't want to look back and realize I only worked 9-5. With this thought process, I sold my car, quit my job and bought a plane ticket to the other side of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few of our favorite Bucket List items we have crossed off so far are:

** Taking the 007 James Bond Bungee Jump in Switzerland
** Learning to Row a Gondola in Venice ** Celebrating Oktoberfest in Munich
** Fed a Baby Tiger in Thailand
** Walked the World's Longest Pedestrian Suspension Bridge in Switzerland
** Hitch hiked the length of the Great Ocean Road in Australia
** Walked to the CENTER of the Great Pyramids in Egypt
** Celebrated NYSE from the Sydney Harbour

Oh and quit my job to travel the world - BEST. DECISION. EVER.

What I Can Share with Hosts

With hosts we can share our love for board games, sports, and travel. Sometimes were really funny... Sometimes were not.
