Sobre mí

Hello everyone!!

Karson and I are taking on yet another adventure after doing a year and a half long tour around the world with nothing but our backpacks. On this trip we had the pleasure of meeting 60+ hosts, in 18 different countries, walking over 2,200 miles, and crossing hundreds of items off our bucket lists. From volcano boarding in Nicaragua to bungee jumping in Switzerland we were YES-men when it came to new activities, new cultures, new languages and new ideas! After taking a 2 year hiatus in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina during COVID, we now have our sights set on driving to the tip of Argentina (from Missouri, USA) after having spent the last year building out a mini school bus from scratch! During those two years we sorely missed the companionship, open mindedness, and learning lessons that couchsurfing provides. We are very much ready to start traveling and meeting new people to share experiences with once more.

A little bit about us; we love all kinds of sports, playing board games, video games, reading good books, watching documentaries, wandering through museums, cooking, finding new wine to enjoy, going to breweries, thrift store shopping, and going on weekend getaways! Karson told me not to forget - BEING OUTSIDE. Whether that is walking the streets of a small town, or out on a nature hike there is nothing like the great outdoors! We are very down to earth people, flexible, frugal, minimalist, easy going, and go with the flow.

As I mentioned earlier, we would be arriving at your home in a school bus! So a nice, safe place to park our new home would be necessary. While we do have our own bed, refrigerator, solar power, and running water - you may be wondering why we need to Couchsurf! Well the truth is we just genuinely appreciate a nice cultural exchange! We can appreciate each other's company in 200 square feet for a long time…but then how would we learn something new? How would we grow if we only had each other's perspectives? We would love to share food, drinks, and company together so we can better get to know you and hear about some of your awesome travel stories! Plus, nobody knows the land better than the locals so any tips and suggestions are always appreciated! While it's possible we may just sleep in our bus, it's also possible we're tired of being cramped in such a small space so we may request to stay in your home to be ON grid for a change as opposed to OFF grid and exposed to the elements!

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile, if you must know more about us then please allow our references from others around the world to speak for us!

We look forward to surfing with you! :)
