Hey guys!

I just moved to Hollywood - in Los Angeles, CA at the beginning of September 2016. I'm pretty happy to be here. I travel quite extensively for business and for personal reasons as well. I love film and TV dramas and comedies. I'm obsessed with sushi and probably spend a decent amount of my income on it. I'd like to think that people generally have zero issues with me regardless of their personality types. I've got an ambivert personality. I'm easy-going. Unless we're competing. I'm uber-competitive. ;)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I got introduced to Couchsurfing by my friend that's doing Peace Corps in the Philippines (shoutout to Surge - she's kind of a rock star). She suggested that if I'm going to be aimlessly wandering around the cities that I travel to try and make new friends - that I also use Couchsurfing to make friends and ultimately host visitors to my area, as well.

Centres d'intérêt

First and foremost, I suffer from FoMo... fear of missing out. I'm probably still not adjusted to the fact that I'm never going to see every country in the world but I'd like to get as close to all of them as possible before I pass.

I love catching a sports game at the stadium - nothing quite like the feeling of being right there with thousands of fans are cheering but the sports bar is fun, too. I like the bar scene - clubs and lounges are great, too. I can usually navigate seamlessly with highly social events and "do nothing" with a friend, as well and on that note, I do well alone, too. Oftentimes I travel alone so I tend to explore alone but there's nothing quite like a human connection.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Music: I've got highly varied tastes. I like a lot of different genres and there's not really any genre that I dislike, even obscure ones. For the most part, my favorite artists are A.R. Rahman, Enya, Rihanna, Safri Duo, Jess Glynne, Florence, and Norah Jones. I like this new hipster-esque electro-pop wave too. I listen to a lot of that and a lot of EDM-type music with a pop or soul vibe. Some of the newer artists that I've been liking lately: Kygo, ODESZA, Zedd, MØ, and Madeon.

Movies: My favorite film of all-time is Eternal Sushine of the Spotless Mind but I'd be able to list hundreds and hundreds of films as favorites. I watch a LOT of film. Big-time Pixar and Disney fanatic. I'm always first in line for those. Other favorites probably include: Shawshank Redemption, Life of Pi, The Lion King, Memento, Citizen Kane, Psycho, 300, American Beauty, Inside Man, The Truman Show, Fight Club, The Dark Knight, Inception, Interstellar, and Titanic. Guilty pleasures are endless, too: Space Jam, Mars Attacks!, Independence Day, Kindergarten Cop, and anything with Keanu Reeves.

Books: The Lovely Bones and Stieg Larsson's Millennium trilogy are favorites for sure but I tend to re-read the Harry Potter novels from time to time. That nostalgia hits you hard sometimes. I like Stephen King and Jane Austen works, too. Read practically everything those two have written.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

Let me be cheesy and say smiles. No, but really... I'm incredibly approachable in general and people find it extremely easy to open up to me. I can be an extremely reliable friend and for the most part, I'm hoping to just use this to meet some great new people and also see some sights when I travel with others instead of alone as I usually end up doing.
