ABOUT ME

My name means Ocean of Compassion and in my daily life I always work to live up to this name. I love to travel and leave my routine behind, but I also appreciate coming home to my city and the people I love the most. I have a small Jack-Russell/Chihuahua that I miss while I'm away (but he's always in great care with family). I love to read, dance, ride my bike, try new restaurants and explore my own city whenever I can. I drink wine in the parks on summer nights and watch different series online in the winter (I don't like the cold too much).

PHILOSOPHY

For me it's simple. I do things that make me happy as often as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I can't host at the moment while I'm staying at my sister's place but I've hosted many people throughout my life, outside of the official CS world, and I love being a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first Couchsurfing experience in Charleston, South Carolina and it was awesome! Our host showed us a bit of nightlife and shared a meal with us at a great restaurant and we had a wonderful experience. I'm looking forward to many more Couchsurfing experiences in my life.

I like to cook, read fiction and inspiring quotes, learn about the world's history, ride my bike, try new beer, go shopping in outdoor markets, walk in the forest, swim in the ocean, lakes, rivers and pools, lay on the beach for hours and hours, have arts and crafts nights with friends, LAUGH! :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like all music really, but mostly listen to soul, r&b, hip hop, jazz and funk. Favourite artists of all time = Marvin Gaye and Al Green. I like novels that take me on historical adventures around the world or touch on spirituality/philosophy like Sophie's World. I can never remember the names of movies...sometimes I can't remember if I've watched them, but I love watching movies! I also have a lot of favourite shows (Boardwalk Empire is one of my top 5).

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Traveling to the Amazon in Colombia and waking up early to watch pink dolphins swimming in the river was unforgettable!

Also visiting the oldest known civilization in the Americas, Caral, in northern Peru was humbling and special to me.

Reading A Course in Miracles.....life changing :)
