About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Starting a big kid life in the Bay Area in 2013!
ABOUT ME
My friends like to say that I'm outgoing and the first to try something new, from a new food or restaurant to a new part of the world. I love to travel and go out with friends for a night out or simply a good conversation. They will also say that I never forget a birthday and always love to make friends feel welcome with a meal, drink, or even cupcakes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meet new people, travel and learn from locals!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Fairly new but I have heard positive experiences from others from travel blogs to friends!
Interests
I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. I love this school and town but I ready to move into a new phase of my life and will soon be relocating to Silicon Valley to work for a small IT company.
Throughout the past few years I have been blessed enough to see South America and a bit of Europe. I studied Spanish and Linguistics in Buenos Aires for one semester in 2010. In 2012, I also got the chance to teach English at a small NGO in Porto Alegre, Brazil through the student organization AIESEC. I love finding local spots to get know a city and trying my tongue with the local language.
Besides travel I enjoy checking out live music, dancing, eating great food, and finding new ways to enjoy life. I will try anything once and am always ready for an adventure.
Iâve been on the East Coast for quite a while and am excited to try out the West Coast style of life!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all three. I typically read mainly non-fiction and am currently teaching myself to program. Any suggestions are welcome!
I love music and play some guitar myself however, I tend to try and stay away from top 40. Way too overplayed! Take me to almost any show and we would have a great time!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't seen too many natural wonders in my life so the site of Iguazú Falls, one of the America's largest waterfall networks, was amazing. I was truly blown away by the beauty of the falls and was even able to see them at night lit up by the moonlight with friends. La Garganta del Diablo, the most powerful of the falls, came out of nowhere but led to the earth-molding mouth of a breathtaking and unique experience. I highly recommend Iguazú for travelers throughout South America and especially Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay.
