ABOUT ME
I'm a youngster devoted to self-development (now is my best time to learn things!) and willing to see a little bit of the world, with some (probably) over-ambitious travelling plans for near future. I happen to live near Lodz, a forgotten city of 750 thousand people in central Poland, which I absolutely adore. Feel free to ask me for a guided trip through this one-of-a-kind place. Apart from showing you the must-see places and glossy obvious tourist destinations, I can introduce you to the true feel of my hometown, with its decaying 19th century architecture, remains of the great textile industry that once flourished, and traces of a true mixture of cultures this place used to be. Lodz is sometimes called a Central European equivalent of UK's Manchester and there's something to it. The best way to describe it is "the most beautiful of the ugliest cities in the world", a phrase I've once heard in a movie.
I hope to find a common topic with anybody willing to make contact. And I must keep on moving and see some real world and get to know anything I find important, interesting, valuable or simply amusing.
I've used Couchsurfing for almost every time I traveled abroad for the last 3 years and I keep recommending it to everybody. Even though I can afford a place to stay in most cities I travel, I definitely prefer staying with CS hosts, as there is nothing more valuable than a trusted guide in a new location.
PHILOSOPHY
They say that when you die, you land in a cinema and are presented with a film showing your entire life. Make it an interesting one to watch.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very positive, managed to crawl through entire Western Europe only thanks to people's hospitality. Never had a single bad memory, and the people were adorable.
Interests
Popularisation of science and tech knowledge, unconventional teaching methods, extreme sports (caving in particular), geocaching, obviously travelling and meeting people, language exchange, literature and all the usual.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hang gliding, just for several seconds, but made me dreaming of flying ever since.
Teach, Learn, Share
Playing Jungle Speed quite well. Been an electronics designer for two years now and have taught lots of people the basics of how to build anything you want. Recently started helping CS hosts build their 3d printers.
Also, language exchange is fun. (native Polish, fluent English, beginner Russian)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you with your 3d printer project*, and I mean it. Try me if you dare.
*and any other sort of hardware tinkering for that matter
