About Me

Looking for life and music inspiration :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using Couchsurfing for my travel (and started to host after I've received a number of warm welcomes by others) during my study back in Italy before 2020. Now that I'm back to Bangkok I just use it to get to know new people whenever I can. I may be busy with office work during weekdays but feel free to leave some messages:)

Interests

Music - from classical, jazz, to metal - dont freak out, I do growl sometimes :p For pop I like the least as I get older. Been trying to sing/play on Smule app since 2016. Practicing my electric guitar on some metal songs.

Internet, old school gaming - love some SquareEnix stuff to death esp one old RPG game for SNES called Secret of Mana. Now I only play some mobile games like Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and Pokémon Go.

Travelling - whenever I can unroot myself off my house. I hardly go out in the evening if nothing special

Gym, Weight training, Yoga, Pilates

Ice-cream, Italian 'Gelato' is so good that I had to try everytime I visited each Italian town even when it got cold in winter.

Bubble tea addict. Love good sweets.

Photography - not the best I know but I prefer my compact camera or mobile phone since it's faster to snap a shot. You know sometimes it's not always about the tool that counts :p

I love nice postcards and collect stamps since I was 8 when people still wrote those letters :) Always feel excited when receiving some.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a bit of everything from Classical to Metal but I'd prefer rock/metal. (Or a good mix of stuff like Classical Metal from Pergamum)

I love the very first era of Maroon 5, when they were more rocking.
I found Korn's first few albums by chance and I practically grew up with them.

Random classical pieces can fit in the mood sometimes as well as Jazz, while I can just watch the live concert videos of Muse or play Nirvana's for hours, and for getting myself back together I may need heavy music and feel the sound; some songs from Metallica, Pantera, Disturbed, etc.

If I look for meaningful lyrics instead I may rely on something lighter but powerful.

Sometimes Latin music isn't bad though, I used to dance to cha-cha and salsa doesn't sound bad, I just dont know how to do it yet.

After my childhood with Harry Potter, for the books I'm a fan of Agatha Christie's Poirot and some random similar type of fictions. Sometimes I just pick up 'translated' books randomly to see how the translation is done. And most books of a Thai writer/illustrator names 'Songsin' (a page I found with some of his artworks - http://yoopeeup.deviantart.com/), pity there is no translated version but I guess with so many cool drawings he made it could be as well appreciated.

Not a big movies fan but there was a time I saw pretty much of horror/thriller. Many times I'd prefer romantic-comedy. Sometimes weird philosophic stuff in them attract me. Or just animes like One Piece, Attack on Titan, Fruits Basket (remake version) --- One strange nice film: Mr. Nobody (2009) --- Some Studio Ghibli's or Tim Burton's films are also nice

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say maybe not the things I've done but what I got to see and some nice and cool people I got to know that were amazing. Apart from that I don't know what I should consider amazing things, maybe you will judge that for me when we will get to talk about them.
