Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing two years ago when I was working as a language assistant in Nantes, looking for 'like-minded' people, for people who are interested in and passionate about politics and literature, for people with whom to discover Nantes, to go dancing till dawn as well as discussing and plotting politics... Back in Hamburg, I do have some such like-minded people, but the more the merrier! I'd also still love to expand my textbook French, and can offer a native speaker's level of German, as well as a proficient level of English. As far as hosting is concerned, it's a little complicated since I live in a shared house with not much space. However, there's also the garden...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
3-month-trip around South-East-Asia with my best friend
hitch-hiking to Amsterdam with the very same friend at the age of 17 without our parents knowing, then drowning my mobile in some gracht in Amsterdam (and making a photo story of the event) and claiming it got stolen in order to cover up for the fact that my voicemail had mysteriously switched to Dutch, thus alarming my mother...
