Overview
About Me
My house is so small like many Japanese people are used to that you'd be better try someone else if you don't like tiny space.
I'm Shoko, a beginner of Couchsurfing. I love music and playing the piano. I'm a university student and my major is the intercultural studies. Academy wise I'm also interested in political philosophy.
I want to be the person who opens mind to everything, and I want to respect everything, everyone I meet for the first time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to break my timidity and I try to dare to open my mind through traveling all over the world.
And I think the best way to know the city is to contact with local people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all of genres of music without metal, but usually I listen to rock music, jazz, and R&B, such as Erykah Badu or D'angelo. Sometimes I also listen to classic music. My favorite artist is Hiromi Uehara, who is a Japanese jazz pianist.
I also like to read books. Especially I like the genres of mystery, romance and fantasy. Haruki Murakami and Banana Yoshimoto are my favorite Japanese writers, and I like Harry Potter!!
