Because it's amazing! You get the opportunity to hang out with people, that you would probably not talk to when seen on street. Because you can get a hand-on experience when sightseeing as well as trying local food. Because it's good to help people and make them smile or listen to when they have any kind of problems. It's just a great way to travel and live life. <3

I've been backpacking through Scotland for two weeks last summer and it was an amazing time! I met many kind and open minded people, saw wonderful landscapes and swam in the Loch Ness. It was breathtaking and this trip changed me in some ways.
