About Me

Hello, I'm an IT student from Warsaw, interested in cycling, kayaking, trekking, foreign languages. I like kitchy things and folk music. I enjoy eating and sleeping. I haven't got much experience in couchsurfing and hitchiking, but I hope it would change.

I am living in a dorm in Warsaw right now (moving out soon!). Right now putting somebody up is possible, however may be kind of inconvenient for you (shared room).

I'm non-smoker, moderate drinker, rather listener than talker (at least in a larger group of people).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to learn about cultures and cities from open-hearted people, not only from guidebooks! I think it's a great opportunity to meet people. Then, couchsurfing might enable me to travel to a places where regular accomodation could prove too expensive (I'd rather spend my money on food and gifts :>)

In the future, as I'll have my own flat I'd like to accept guests and show them my country/city.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh my. A lot of, actually. Go on, ask me. Right now the first thing I came up with are Studio Ghibli's animations, like Howl's Moving Castle. And I like Pulp Fiction. And How to train Your Dragon.

Music? I folk, rock, metal, film and game soundtracks, sea shanties and classical music. Some blues and some jazz is also no bad. I like songs with lyrics, like Nick Cave's, PJ Harvey's, Joanna Newsom's..

Books? Remarq, Eco, Marquez, Hrabal, Tolkien, Le Guin, Pratchett, Gaiman. In general, I like classic and additionally I am fond of fantasy novels and dictionaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh, c'mon. I'm in constant awe of how the word and human body function. My heart pumps blood, that's truly amazing. And happens quite regularly. Anything else is just bragging.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my passions with you- cycling, kayaking, wandering, cooking, reading.
Yeah, we can talk and go sightseeing/staring at people/trees/shops/the river together.
I want to learn new things, but I have no set expectations.
