ABOUT ME

By day, I teach ESL to Russians via skype and nanny. By night, I write short stories and creative non-fiction. I'm friendly, honest, and easy-going with interests in creative writing, art, social justice, travel, other cultures, yoga, psychology, and philosophy. I currently live in Brooklyn with my boyfriend, who is from the Batumi, Georgia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch-surfing to meet new people. I've couch-surfed in Amsterdam and Istanbul, as well as used it to meet travelers in Indonesia. I've had a very positive experience and am still close friends with some of the people I've met on here. :) I am open to hosting people, but it depends on my schedule.

Interests

Writing and music are my main drugs of choice. I love going out to bars and to see electronic music shows, but I'm not a fan of clubs (you will never find me in a pair of heels). Staying active is important for me - I am certified to teach yoga and I love hiking and exploring nature. During the summer, I can often be found lounging on the beach with my boyfriend and boombox at Coney Island.
