Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently traveling frequently between Scotland and Europe so not available.
I am happy to meet people for a coffee (decaf ;) and depending on the moment at work and how busy I am in general I might be able to host.
When traveling I'm looking to meet like-minded people and share a coffee, a meal, a story, a tour.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far so good

Interests

I love books, art, theatre and documentary photography which I am attempting myself. I am also interested in how art and science interact.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time, waking up in the morning while wild camping seems like waking up into the new world, applies to the bothies as well.
walking Camino de Santiago, hitch hiking in Iceland (bonus points for spotting aurora borealis), living in Edinburgh and working for the Edinburgh Festivals, solo trip to the Balkans, island hopping in Greece, having my work exhibited in Paris, working at the Wachowskis' film set in Glasgow (Cloud Atlas), one week in wilderness of Norway, serving the English King (the Duke of Edinburgh, really), trekking Everest Base Camp and Kala Pattar (5545 m) and many other little moments I cherish

Teach, Learn, Share

I can explain all the different symbols on your camera and tell you what does what. I know a bit about European art history also.
I can help with your arts and crafts projects.
Origami crane is my forte!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Whatever is needed. I'm happy to participate in preparing the meals, I'm respectful and clean.
