I'm a dreamer. A thought-provoker. Reader. Road biker. Sea kayaker. Not a yakker. Avid snowshoer and winter hiker with the AMC. Queer librarian. Optimist and lifelong learner. Liberal thinker. Teen library services advocate.

Why I'm on CS:
I'm frugal at heart and I love the idea of meeting new people. I'm in a master's program at URI's Library and Information Science program. I primarily travel to go to library conferences around the country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing and hosting - it all sounds great to me. If I crash with you, I'm very happy to return the favor :) I'm hoping to post some pictures of my couch once I settle into my new apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet....I'm a newbie. Though I've crashed my friends' couches before and can say that I have great references.

Interests

scuba, winter hiking adventures, including snowshoeing and the occasional run-in with a moose, road trips to new hampshire and vermont, libraries and library conferences, teen advocacy in libraries, library marketing, library-anything, biking the world, having more bicycles than any other thing i possess, postcards, collecting tea mugs, drinking tea, and trying new things.
