ABOUT ME

I'm really active person. I don't like doing nothing. Also in my freetime i try to find some interesting things to do. I really enjoy cooking. I was vegetarian for 12 years. Since 1 year I have been vegan and I enjoy it a lot:)IN my freetime I love traveling to mountains and playing bord-games. Mountains are my second home and I go there each weekend. I love polish Beskidy mountains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participated to CouchSurfing before me first visit in Sweden. A trip to Sweden was my dream from childhood:) I wanted to go there to meet elves. I didn't find any elves but I found great opened people who are now my friends:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started to travel as CouchSurfer in my holiday 5 years ago. I planed to be CouchSurfer only during my voluntary service on a festival in Sweden but it was so great, that I decided to travel more. I took my brother to one of my trips - to Czech Republic and now he's also a CouchSurfer:)

Interests

I like reading books, my favourite aouthor is Amoz Oz. I graduated sociology and mayby that's why I love long discussions about society and not only:) I love rock and reggae music, listen quite much to polish punk-rock musicians from 80s and 90s. And I love cooking vegan meals so you can feel yourself welcome for a cooking sesion. Since 2 years I play regulary bord games, each monday in a pub in center of the city. I have also a little collection of bord games at home. But my biggest love and interrest are mountains. Krakow is near polish mountins so I try to be in the mountains as often as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reggae, my favourite reggae musician is Matysiahu. I like also swedish reggage, specially General Klas. I listen also to punk rock and rock music, prefere polish musicians from 80s and 90s, but not only.
I like to read both in polish and english, sometimes also in swedish and german, but to too often. One of my favourite authors are Amoz Oz and Herta Muller.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip to Sweden - for 2 months without money. I traveled there to work as volunteer on 2 festivals in 2 cities in different parts of the country. I met there very helpfull people who helped me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you my city, touristic places, but also those non - touristic, that you will never find with a tourist guide. I can cook good dinner for you. Please notice, that when you will come to me as CouchSurfer, I will ask you to cook some traditional dish for me and my flatmates.If you love mountains we can also travel toghether to some of my favorit places in polish mountains for a weekend or one day trip.
