About Me

basically I'm a student of architecture, currently doing a gap year, trying to figure out what exactly to do next.

I'm maybe a little bit shy when I meet new people, but I become friendly quite quickly. sometimes I'm very very very lazy, sometimes I'm not, doing a lot of things at once. and I'm always optimistic, even if I may not seem like this to some people : )

PHILOSOPHY

"Must, must, must--detestable word." (Virginia Woolf)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just love meeting new people from other countries, it's always interesting and you always learn something new. I never really liked being a tourist, doing touristy things and travelling with Couchsurfing really changed the way I see the world now.

I had almost two-years-long break from travelling (unfortunately), but then I moved to Germany for half a year and it was probably the most amazing period of my life so far. Now that I'm back in Poland I want to take up travelling again, because life's just too short to stay in one place.

Interests

besides architecture, my great passion is history, but - as many Polish people - I get too emotional while discussing it. I like books, I write a little bit, I play piano (poorly). I absolutely LOVE food and trying out new recipes and cooking for other people. also I used to hike and ski a lot, but due to injury I had two years ago, it's taken away from me for now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't think of exactly one amazing thing, but for sure my time in Germany was amazing experience and I have many good memories from it : )

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, United Kingdom
