About Me
Let's go out of our comfort zone by travelling. 🏞
Hi! 😃 You can call me Kasia (my full name is Katarzyna but it's difficult to remember and pronounce). I'm Polish, but I am more connected with the whole world than my country. I always use opportunities given to me. Thanks to that, I was on the Erasmus student exchange in 🇪🇸 Huelva, Spain. Was extremely, was amazing, was open-minded. I didn't also waste the next opportunity - the European Solidarity Corps volunteering in 🇵🇹 Lisbon, Portugal. I was also living and studying in 🇬🇧 Bradford, UK. But the country that took my heart is 🇮🇱 Israel. I gained a scholarship for studies in Haifa there and just had to use it, of course. Currently , I’m taking part in the Work&Travel program - I was working in the 🇺🇸 Connecticut, US and now, we're accomplishing the second part of the program. I discover, explore and love to meet new people! Those during my travels taught me a lot. Now, it's my turn. I still upgrade my open mind and teach others about it. Next directions? Who knows…
💡 PHILOSOPHY: To be empathetic and closer to people and be better for the animals and the planet!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I visit another country, I want to meet the true spirit of a place and people. Any hotel or a travel agency won't give me that. I try to see as many places as it is possible. That's why I look for experiences that could help me to achieve that. Would you?

Music, Movies, and Books
🎥 Most of my favourite movies are somehow related to American justice, like "A Few Good Man" or "Erin Brockovich". But passion to movies has started from the Old Hollywood.
🎙 Music? I am very stereotypical - I like classic rock, but I am open to any suggestions.
📚 Please, don't recommend me romance novels or crime novels, otherwise - I'd love anything, especially Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I travelled to Cordoba and met homeless people. They just have chosen that style of life. Even though they felt all consequences of that decision, not only freedom. That talk changed my mind. And from that moment, my first commandment is not to fear talking to people. Every conversation can be inspired and changing mind.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love hand-crafts, so I will be happy to exchange experiences with you or teach you something. I am studying politics and business, so these topics are close to me, but sometimes, like everyone else, I'm just fed up with them. Then we can talk about cuisine (I'm vegan), the cultures we come from, and many other topics. I would love to know your interests. If you like subjects unfamiliar to me at all, like electronics or chemistry, I would love to hear something about your hobbies (I cannot promise I will understand everything though).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Maybe the Polish language isn't very useful in the international business world, but it's great when you're pissed off. It has a lot of f-words. If you are bored with the English "fuck" or "shit", I can help you express your expression more creatively. ;) In addition, I will be happy to show you simple, quick and exciting vegan cuisine. All of these, in a package with lots of smiles and pink hair. :D
P.S. If you like talks about the current situation in the world, I will gladly share my perspective with you. If not - don’t hesitate to tell me what that. I 100% understand it.
