Hi, we are Kasia and Michal from Poland :)

We met in 2012 and after a few months we went on our first couchsurfing trip to the Sicily. Since then we know what it our great shared passion - travelling! We've been to many countries since then and we love getting to know other cultures. And we'd love to meet your culture! :)

During all our trips we've been helped number of times, and we really strive to give something to the world as well. We often try to help, especially people with worse situation than ours. We’ve participated (and organized) in many charity campaigns targeted at poor people and animal shelters. We deeply believe that even small help makes a difference.

Did I mention we love animals? We are proud owners (we prefer to say ‘parents’) of two beautiful cats and in the future we’d like to add dog to our family.

Also, we love sports! Currently we are gym-goers, but we've been through many disciplines: ballroom dancing, single dancing, triathlon (swimming, running, cycling), martial arts, football, handball and even fencing!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

As a surfer or a host, I have the exquisite pleasure of meet and befriend complete strangers, stay in local homes instead of hotels or hostels, and help out fellow travelers in need ;)

When I travel I learn a little bit more about the world.

兴趣

Me, Kasia, I’m a law student and I’m finishing my master’s degree in a year. Currently I work as a project coordinator in association where I gained experience teaching older people basic computer skills and teaching art classes, mainly handicraft like decoupage and scrapbooking.
In the past I’ve worked as a hostess, waitress in Scotland (yes, scottish accent IS hard) and bartender.
My biggest passion is weightlifting and fitness. For five years I’ve been developing in these areas.

Me, Michal, I have a master's degree in Telecommunications & Computer Science. For a few years I've worked as a software developer. Also during my studies I was working as a member of one of the biggest technological blogging team in Poland. In that time I was writing articles, copywriting, even for paper magazines.
For a year, I’ve been a private tutor for english and mathematics at high school level.
My side hobby is fitness and physiotherapy, especially in regard of the back mechanics, as I happened to suffer from back injury myself.
