About Me

CURRENT MISSION

just living up the 5 minutes of my life!..:)

ABOUT ME

I love colors. tastes and smells as well. hate the usual and common. love challenges. hate the routine. feel free. love my dreams. realizing them even more:) I never leave home without a cup of coffee in the morning. I love to get soaked after a summer rain and to smell the air after storm. love to feel the dew under my feet. adore the taste of chocolate when seeing the mountains all around me. love watching the sky at night and look for the falling stars. like to lay down and watch the crowns of trees and listen to the stories that the leaves are whispering. always say a wish to a ladybug. use to look at the horizon wondering if there is somebody on the opposite side doing the same. love to smile. love to touch the skin of the oranges and peel them. who am I? you should check it out. sometimes too loud, sometimes too shy. sometimes regret to be too rough, sometimes too sensitive. want to see to know the whole world. just living up the 5 minutes of my life. enjoy!:)

PHILOSOPHY

to go further than my eyes can see. to take up each challenge. to go crazy:) to see to touch to feel. to share my life with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started with Hospitality Club (I use there the same nick: kasiool) in June 2007. Immediately became crazy about this hosting/helping/sharing project. Guess my references tell more what it means to me.

Interests

art is one half of my life, another one is traveling - without end...; photography keeps the memories; mountains, mountains, mountains... trekking, biking, kayaking, horse riding; culture, ethnology, other people; cinema(especially european $ latinamerican); beloved music, dance - dreaming of flamenco (still not enough courage to try..); collecting friends:), discussions, exchanging the ideas, watching, thinking, listening, laughing....

Music, Movies, and Books

well, quite a tough task..
the first thing I do after opening my eyes in the morning, is to turn the music on. I'm an addict. So, very briefly:
I have some musical-lovers: Thom Yorke, Tom Waits, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Amos Tobin; some female soul-mates: Tori Amos, Norah Jones, Ane Brun, Bjork, Erykah Badu; I really love the world/folk music: Beirut, Mari Boine Sevara Nazarkhan, Cesaria Evora, Mariza, Tabla Beat Science; also listening to some classics: The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, Pearl Jam; like to go crazy with indie-rock: Joy Division, Editors, Pixies, The Shins, Modest Mouse; I use to spend evenings with jazz: Tomasz Stańko, Leszek Możdżer, Tord Gustavsen Trio; some other favourites: Sigur Rós, Antony & The Johnsons, The Cinematic Orchestra, Bonobo, Radiohead, Portishead, Massive Attack, Coco Rosie, Jens Lekman, Arcade Fire, Tindersticks, Feist, Sufjan Stevens, Death Cab For Cutie, Myslovitz; I'm always open for new sounds, never have enough of them..check this link: http://www.last.fm/user/indiangirl86 to learn more;)

cinema isn't easier..Kusturica, Jarmush, Almodovar, Innaritu, Menzel, Rohmer - a love from the very first sight. Favourite films? Zivot je Cudo, Black cat, White cat, Postriziny, Night on Earth, Coffee & Cigarettes, In the mood for love, Vozvrashcheniye, Amores perros, Babel, City of God, Blue Velvet, Samotari, The Science of Sleep, Stealing Beauty, Pulp Fiction, Good Bye, Lenin!....and the list goes on..

Literature..my favourite author is Andrzej Stasiuk, who pointed me the way to live and observe the world. also best memories with: Marquez(who stole my heart), Kundera(who grabbed my mind), Kapuściński(who fulfilled my hunger for lore), Kafka(with whom I could share my fears).
