About Me

Got older since joined CS! :) not much changed though ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met dozens of wonderful people through CS not necessarily hosting or surfing. I think CS is like an bottomless well of people who are worth meeting and so I'm also restless to meet them, bearing in mind the quality not the quantity.

Interests

Too many! LANGUAGES above all. I love English but I believe it flattens and diminishes the quality of communication, that's why we should learn all the languages ;) love watching movies (my new years resolution is to watch one movie per day), travelling although dont like popping in in a country and going away I prefer to live at least a bit somewhere. Dont like tourstic places cause I have a crowdphobia (I can stand it but I dont feel comfortable as I'm really short and feel that can be smashed any second). to be continued...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm recenty in LOVE with traditional music, folk music and also those artist who somehow connect it with modern rhythms (Kazachij Krug, Drevo, Lube, Balkan Beat Box, Gogol Bordello(I missed their concert recently). I love Roma artists like Esma Rezepova, Kochani Orkestar (Macedonia), Boban Marković Orkestar, Taraf de Haidouks and others.

I'm a big fan of the genious of Freddy Mercury and Michael Jackson. I do appreciate a lot Portishead, Radiohead, Placebo, Tesco Value, The Cure, Regina Spector and many othersssss(so you see that I don't divide music into categories - to be honest I don't know them - if someone could once do me a favour and explain what is what I would be grateful:)

I do watch a lot of movies, but there's always too many of them!:) Same same with books and if I don't have enough time to read something I buy it and Hope I'll read it when I retire :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bulgaria. Buzludzha. A communist conference hall situated on a mountain in a deserted area looking like a concrete flying saucer.

Preparing Banica with friend's mom, siting on the floor with a kind of a brush stick instead of rolling pin with a 20 cm high table on my knees :D

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Norway, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Bulgaria, China, Poland
