I could say "to make the world a better place" but to be honest my current mission is just to have some fun!

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic guy who's fond of music, movies and art. Can be a bit quiet when I'm tired, but when I'm enthousiastic about something I won't stop talking about it and try to get everyone as enthusastic about the subject as I am. Quite often I succeed at it... Good sense of humour and always pleased to help someone out.

I live for my kids, for music, for movies, for having fun and for helping others out when they can use my help.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like spending time with people and meeting new people while doing fun things, like playing games! Therefore I regularly organise game evenings on CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm one of the more active members of the Couchsurfing community in Zwolle. I organise events, have hosted a few people and just like to meet new people. Locals or people from abroad.

Interests

I love music and movies. I like to play a game every now and then (computergame or board game). I like to see and do new things and am interested in culture art and old stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, where to begin! All sorts of movies from big-budget commercial (Harry Potter, LOTR) to more arty-farty (Hanna, Stuart: a Life backwards, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind). I listen to all sorts of music, pop music, soul, blues, rock, electronical, piano, you name it. I'm also playing keys and am a pianist. I love fantasy books, but only in English.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That would be visiting Las Vegas (insane!), seeing the Niagara Falls (wet!) and of course my two kids. And come to think about it... Also Ha Long Bay in Viet Nam, the Boro Bodur in Indonesia, Grand Canyon in the US, Plivic lakes in Croatia. And a number of cities I visited: Istanbul, Barcelona, London, Marakech. Washington, Prague.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach in some computer stuff, am an experienced software tester. But it'd be also fun to teach some piano or keys, or maybe some art. I dont know.
I also still have a lot to learn when it comes to art. So if people can teach me: bring it on!
