About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Following my motto: Growing old is inevitable, Growing up is optional.

ABOUT ME

It has taking me forever to actually write this. I hate doing it. well hate is a strong word, but it is for sure not on my top 5 list of fun things. well I have come to this place in life, where I know that what I was doing wasnt working for me. so know I have taking some time of trying to figure out where to go from here. and what better way, than start traveling for a while. I openminded ( don't we all write that and don't we all comment of that as well ;-) ) anyway Im always smiling and looking for new people to meet and new places to see

PHILOSOPHY

Don't think I can say it much better than Mark Twain.
"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away for the safe harbour, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore, Dream, Discover."
That and then I believe in never say no to an invitation, you never know if you are passing up on your best experience ever, and if not, it will only make you wiser.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to participate in as many gatherings in Copenhagen as possible, not that I have been all that successful :-) getting ready for traveling took most of my time :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No CS surfing yet, but have couchsurfed oldschool in England, US, NZ & Australia. All nothing but wonderful experiences with some amazing people. Funnist story will have to be long beach, califonia. A girlfriend introduced me to 3 surferdudes, who had a spare couch, they weren't to keen on hosting me, since nobody knew me. But in the end they figured that since I was named after a friendly ghost, what harm could I possibly do :-) Never thought a 60s cartoon would open doors for me :o) Had some of my best days at that place.

Interests

Traveling, knowing the world. Have huge thirst for knowledge, any knowledge, Im always trying to read some thing that will teach me just a little bit more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Listening/watching almost anything, some days all I need it a sitcom and bubblegum pop, other days I need my nick cave fix and a documentary. should every else fails, there is always room for rammstein ;-).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Think I have seen quite a few very special places, but I have also learned that it is not the places you have been at, it is not the things you have seen, it is not the events you have done that makes up a good trip or great experience, it is always the people you meet.
