I might be new to it, but couchsurfing seems like the perfect way to way to meet new people, experience new ways of life and discover a new place like a local.

Apart from travelling and writing, I like to spend my time watching movies, looking at modern and street art (I have no talent for them, and I don't know the 'right' way to talk about what I'm seeing, but I love them anyway), spoken word poetry, exploring new places, reading and trying new things.

Honestly my favourites can change depending when you ask me, but here's a basic idea:

Music: Nirvana, Violent Soho, The Doors, Guns'n'Roses, Alt-J, Mudhoney, Bluejuice, The Pixies, The Offspring, Hole, Florence + The Machine, ACDC, Amanda Palmer, Placebo, Vance Joy...and so on. If it was made in the 90s it's pretty safe to say I love it!

Movies: Pan's Labyrinth is always number 1, but I like all genres...except horror, I scare easily!
