About Me

ABOUT ME

I'll rather talk about us, me and my family, because we will all share our flat together. My husband Philipp and I used to travel a lot, mainly in Canada, but also New Zealand, Australia, Thailand and Norway. After all this traveling, we decided to "settle down" and we now live in a cosy little flat in Dresden, Germany. We also have a one year old son, Frederik, who keeps us very busy and can be quite entertaining. My husband is a cabinet maker and I will start an apprenteship as a midwife soon.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to be the change you want to see in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We used to travel a lot and use couchsurfing mainly as guests, but now that we are settled down it's time to turn things around and host people in our flat.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We couchsurfed in France and Canada and always had a great time.

Interests

I am a creative person, I like to sew, cook, play the piano and paint sometimes. I also like to play volleyball, take walks and do yoga.

Music, Movies, and Books

Coffeehouse music, somtimes Salsa (listen and dance...). I mostly enjoy fun movies - not silly fun romantic Hollywood stuff, but the more subtle funny international kind of movies. And as it comes to books... I enjoyed reading Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings and lots of other books, but I try not to readt too many novels now, because when I start one, I get addicted and can't do anything else until I finished. So now I try to stick to nonfiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth to my son.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach German to anybody who is interested :) and I'm always interested in learning how to cook exotic meals.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, United States
