I'm very focussed on the mission right now - head down writing. Need to get another film made.

ABOUT ME

I used to have my own country - The Independent State of Kas - which was formerly recognised by the British monarchy, though I refused to recognise them. I used to live in a converted 1972 double-decker bus. I was a fashion photographer for a while, and photographed a few of my favourite musicians. I've written loads of feature film scripts, and a couple I've worked on have been made, most recently a runaway train thriller Last Passenger starring Dougray Scott. I also teach film editing in a film school.

So my passions are film and photography. I love a human story told visually, and through actions. I'm fascinated by people and what makes them tick, and how and why they act as they do, and I love the sublime - the feeling of overwhelming beauty.

I was born and brought up (local phrase is bred an born) in the depths of the North Norfolk countryside, miles from anywhere. It's flat and bleak, and 5 miles of empty fields separated me and my nearest friend. So I love London as it's the complete opposite of that.

...and I make excellent bread!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted quite a lot with my ex-girlfriend, then we surfed in Morocco, which was lovely lovely! Early this year I stayed in Krakow and made a friend, and was shown around by another couchsurfer, who is now a friend. Couchsurfing rocks!
