About Me

My birthday is on January 1st, I have a B.A. in English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing, a minor in Journalism and a certificate in TESOL. I love to read, write, play soccer, go hiking and camping. My mom is from Honduras and my dad is from Mexico, but I was born in the U.S.

My family and friends would describe me as a genuine and generous person because I always tell it how it is and have embraced a lifestyle of inclusion and non prejudice. I love helping others as much as I can and expect nothing in return because it should not cost a thing to spread kindness. Throughout the years I’ve learned that everyone has different beliefs and stances, so I respect and welcome everyone with an open heart. I am a logical person and choose not to rule my actions emotionally.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to get out of my comfort zone. I also want to encounter people with diverse backgrounds to share and celebrate cultural differences with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to all types of music, but I mainly enjoy rock, alternative and indie.

I love psychological thrillers (the harder they make me think the better).

As for books, I enjoy anywhere from dark stories to poetry. My favorite authors include: Geoffrey Chaucer, John Milton, Dante Alighieri, Sir Walter Raleigh, John Keats, William Shakespeare, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Leo Tolstoy and Vladimir Nabokov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked for an organization in Culver City known as the Performing Arts Club. My role was that of P.A. and I was in charge of orchestrating no cost events for children and families of low-income communities.

My favorite event created was a Christmas celebration in which we had a cookie-decorating station, a coloring table, meet and greet with Santa Claus and present giving.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you as much as you would like to learn. Anywhere from writing poetry, fiction, etc, to cooking, dancing, impartial debating and building a shed.

I love to learn. It is all a process, give and take. I am open to anything.

I want to share stories and experiences with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A care-free environment, positivity, inclusion and healthy community.

Countries I’ve Visited
