Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do what I love and love what I do.
ABOUT ME
Recently finished my Masters program, slinging coffee while searching for something in my field :) I watch lots of movies, bike when it's not 110 freaking degrees outside, and hunt for a job. I spend the rest of my time doing a myriad of things that are far to varied and numerous to bother listing. Life is too short not to enjoy what you're doing, so I do things that make me happy as often as I can :)
PHILOSOPHY
"No law can be sacred to me but that of my nature."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to help as many people as I can accomplish their goals and get to where they want or need to be as possible. I've helped several people passing through by offering a place to crash, and hopefully I can help more through CS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a few stay for a single evening, and a fantastic guy stay for close to a week. All are welcome :)
Interests
I cycle, and love working on bikes though my knowledge and experience doing so is limited. I have beer, wine, and cider in various stages of creation or conditioning tucked away in the corners. I love to bake and cook, as well as paint. I love to create in general, and this is well reflected in various projects in various stages of completion .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked the Grand Canyon in a day. Fantastic! Awe inspiring. Mind-boggling experience of deep-time.
Teach, Learn, Share
Geologic knowledge, including the karst nature of the Ozarks, and Missouri, in general (lots of caves and sinkholes), cool things to do that aren't too far away, and extensive trivia skills. Plus I can show you how to patch that giant hole in your backpack/pants/favorite sweater.
