I learned 90% of my Ukrainian from Okean Elzy and SAW THEM LIVE IN SYDNEY earlier this year 😍😍😍 I don't have blue hair anymore because I'm looking for a job and need to fool employers into thinking I'm professional, but I'm still cool, right??

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm visiting China with my boyfriend in October and looking to meet some new people! This is a little premature considering I haven't even planned the trip yet but while I'm logged in I may as well update my profile ✨

Interests

My #1 hobby is learning new things. I study a lot of languages because I think languages are awesome. Lately I've been spending a lot of time and effort studying Chinese. It's taken a lot of sweat and blood, but for the first time since I was a child, I'm not illiterate anymore! I'm taking the HSK level 5 exam in October 🤞🤞

I used to be a freelance illustrator/graphic designer and I still do art stuff occasionally. I knit and crochet sometimes. I've been slowly chipping away at making at game called BIRD RPG where you play as a bird who has to build a sweet nest and learn dance moves to try to get laid. Oh and I've been learning to play ukulele and that's pretty cool even though I'm honestly pretty bad at it.

One of my favourite things about travelling is seeing the different natural environments in all the different parts of the world. I'm admittedly not the most outdoorsy person back home but I love getting out into nature any time I go somewhere new. So cool!

ДДТ, Кино, Океан Ельзи, Брат (it's a shame they never made a sequel), Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, Donnie Darko, Paprika (the book and the movie), Blankets, Epileptic, the Book of the New Sun, We. Metal Gear Solid had a formative effect on my psyche.

My least favourite books are undoubtedly the entire Chinese Breeze catalogue. Dear god those things are dry.
