I'm from Arizona and have been up in Portland about eight years. I work in the medical field as an editor (turning doctor speak into people speak, basically). I have a menagerie of pets (2 dogs, 2 cats, 1 snake). I love music, books, conversations, friends, making things, and traveling.

Favorite authors: Tom Robbins, Mark Z. Danielewski, HST, Vonnegut, Denis Johnson, Alissa Nutting, George Saunders, and on and on.

Music is my favorite thing. I saw over 100 shows in 2017 and am busy in the Portland music scene. The last few live things I saw are Kevin Morby, Lost Balloons, Mount Eerie, Roselit Bone/Star Club, This Will Destroy You, Grails, Bully/Melkbelly, Pardoner, and Dry Erase.

My Spotify has been busy with Clarke & The Himselfs, Big Ups, Hot Snakes, Built to Spill, Cold Cave, awakebutstillinbed, and on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just started a volunteer initiative at my job that results in every employee getting paid time off to do volunteer work in the community. Stoked on that one.
