About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to knock the dust off our shoes and find clean socks, these last six months have been crazy fun now we have China, Mongolia and Russia to go till we get to Europe... Oooh what fun:)
ABOUT ME
We have travelled a windy path, gathered many stories and met some amazing people. Many months in Asia but now we look forward to Europe and the new life that may be there. But not before another six months of wearing out the soles of our shoes on some more distant and dusty roads. As always the reason for all this effort is to meet people and experience cultures, broaden the mind and start the creativity that should see us through those dull days once winter hits:)
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a journey, if you let it go by without gathering it's stories, what knowledge can you pass on to those you meet along the way. So much to see and do in so little time so looks like we just have to keep travelling :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We meet people and talk, and we can talk. After all that is what this is all about, this world and its billions of people, Stories and the ability to share then.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
we have slept on many couch's and had plenty sleep on ours,
Interests
Everything and more, we love conversations and debating the pros and cons of this world. We enjoy learning the local customs and languages. I am a little bit of a tech head and Kat loves everything green. Oh and cats, she loves cats. A music festival is enough to take us to a country and a good time with mates, old and new, the best part!

Music, Movies, and Books
Eclectic mix is what you could define it as, I have never said I dislike something I haven't heard or seen. The music?- we love hearing new stuff, but some faves are The Flaming Lips, Gomez, Bob Dylan, The Cat Empire, Bill Callahan, Yeasayer, Iron and Wine - just meet us for a beer, it would be easier to just show you whats on my ipod.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love Chocolate:) My training many years ago was as a confectioner and this is what I wish to continue eventually. I would be happy to share what I know. Kat's multi-lingual and was a web editor for a consumer advocacy group. She would love to teach and interact in a creative way with other people.
