ABOUT ME

I'd Say I am calm and maybe shy at the beginning but funny when you come to know me more, naif, tidy enough, not always connected with the world...but i enjoy having fun, doing different things, but I only enjoy quietness depending on the moment! Sometimes I get some weird ideas like get in the car and drive without any direction in mind... I like different kinds of music, I LOVE nature, animals, books - obviously - as I am a bookseller, I take care of a bookshop though I studied prehistory, and I like collaborative games and midnight margaritas...

Let's say I just feel the need to connect with people more, start to meet the world around me again, there's also probably a post-covid factor now or something. So if you'd like to meet and share a small bit of your life with me, the keyword is "pesca" ; )

Interests

I love to travel (of course), I used to be kind of a changeaholic, now I like to think I am a bit more centered. I am vegetarian and I love cooking (but I do adapt when travelling). I love writing and drawing, I am fond of ancient culture as I specialised in archaeology. I adore dogs, I consider myself a spiritual person, I like meditation thecniques but I do enjoy chats and pubs and good old fun laughing with people, connecting. I studied literature, and kinda switched life every now and then. I really want to go out and see the world in its most unknown and ancient places. I love meeting people with common interests or philosophy. I love nature in general, I could talk about animals for hours, or about books and I am always up for a nice walk in a beautiful landscape... Summing up...I love stories. I am looking for stories. And I'm trying to create myself a very good one, so that one day when I'll be old, I will look back and see that my life has been a great gift.

Music, Movies, and Books

miscellaneous. but some examples, music: springsteen, peter gabriel, jeff buckley, johnny cash, beatles, pink floyd, queen, acdc, u2, Imagine dragons, Coldplay, swing music... But i mean, this list Is way too limited so It doesnt have much sense...I love violin and irish music too!!
Movies: so many...Out of Africa, I adore it, and also Arizona Dream; others: the boat that rocked, stay, across the universe, running with scissors, when harry met sally, the big lebowski, fight club, once, fear and loathing in las vegas, the notebook, scoop, but also old movies like the big sleep, Labyrinth!!!!, front page, the great race...Tim Burton's, Spielberg's...Pirates of the caribbeans (because it is sooo monkey island!!)...uhm. I love tv series like Doctor Who, Stranger Things, Sherlock, Good Omens, Dirk Gently, OUAT, New girl, Friends, buffy... Books: Neil Gaiman's, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams, Alessandro Baricco's, Chuck Palhaniuk's, Woody Allen's, some fantasy, traveller's books like Bruce Chatwin's, Bill Bryson's, again I cant make a list, they are too much...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swim with a turtle.
Find a fish vertebra and a bird femur in an excavation.
Travel through the Australian desert.
Walk for miles (and inciting some friends in doing that..!) just to reach a
sycamore that was placed on an indefinite point of the Adrian's wall, near Newcastle.
Dive from a rock 3 meters high (yes, for me, it was aaaaargh!)
Have lunch with a friend while sitting on the edge of the cliff of Inishmore, Aran Islands.
Travel by car through the sicilian territory.
See a platypus and some cassowaries!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, apart from English I know some French and I can fake-remember some German...and of course I am an Italian mothertongue! Maybe I could help you with that. Or we could meditate together. Or play guitar! (even if I am not a real guitar player, i Do It my own weird way...) There are sooo many things I would like to learn, I could make some examples I guess: fast travelling drawing, watercolour painting and illustrations, Spanish language, yoga; I'd love to learn to sing properly and to learn mechanical skills (what to do when your car broke in the middle of nowhere?????), eccetera eccetera, but I Guess I Just like to meet friendly people willing to share some good stories and a Little piece of their Amazing life....

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to spend time with but I can also Plan my day independently, if you are too busy, no Need to babysit me ; ), I Hope I can offer some fun time, and of course if you like hosting me I Will Always be up to returning the favour whenever you Need It. Hopefully It can be the start of a very nice friendship!
