ABOUT ME

It would be interesting to attempt to put "All About Me" in this one little square box, and that is assuming that I even know "all about me" yet... I highly doubt any self-description of mine would make much sense to anyone who hasn't met me already, and if you HAVE met me then you likely already have acquired a few perceptions of your own, why would I go and spoil the fun of meeting again down the line and discovering "all about" eachother in the midst of some form of spontaneous excitement? That's the whole idea, meeting new people and getting to know eachother in a new and elating environment (at least for whoever is the surfer at the time) whilst learning about said surf turf and making new memories. I never spoil surprises.

PHILOSOPHY

Which one? I suppose an important one for me is that life is too short to stress, even if something of strong stressor qualities occurs or comes along, stressing is not going to solve it so you may as well save yourself the shoulder pains and spare yourself from negative energy. Live life, love life, be happy always and appreciate others. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well until recently I was unaware of this interesting concept that's apparently being perpetuated globally, but I am loving the fact that it exists and I have been a regular host to many unofficial surfers over the years, as well as done my own share of surfing from couch to couch (and the occasional floor) I'm the type that LOVES to show people a good time and I'm sometimes almost too quick to open my home to anyone who genuinely loves life and the people that share it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can't remember all of them, I pop into Lafayette, Louisiana sometimes and surf on one of 15 couches usually offered up (I love those wonderful people!) And I do the same in Florida sometimes. I have family in Pensacola and Destin and when I get further into Florida they usually refer me to a couch belonging to someone they know. When in Destin, I usually surf on over to the home of my mother's red-headed sister. She's the kind that will keep you occupied and entertained even in your sleep. Tennessee is good couch-surfing territory for me as well, I rarely make it to Nasheville because it rarely coincides with my driving routes, which depend entirely on music, but when I DO get around those parts I have a wonderful time of it and spend quality bonding time with one of three friendly couches I know in the Nashville area.

Interests

I'll never get to sleep if I try to name the ridiculous number of interests that I hold dear. I'm kind of a Jane of all trades except it doesn't end at trades for me, I just find so many different fascinations in this world we live in

  • cats
  • birds
  • environment
  • flying
  • music
  • surfing
  • boxing
  • chemistry
  • science

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything that challenges the mind
I love all good music, whatever genre
I think if you're looking for an intriguing book to read check out "The Mists Of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer-Bradley

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't think of anything specific off the top of my head right now, but I am amazed by many things. Sometimes certain fireworks amaze me. The fact that alot of bugs can simultaneously mate and fly together amazes me. The way birds fly in a V formation, sea creatures, the formation of various stones, volcanos, the behaviors of cats, all of these things and more completely amaze me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm... not really sure what to tell you guys but here's a random tidbit: Too much mercury in the blood(not nearly enough to kill you, the body holds small trace amounts of many different pure element metals) anyhow too much mercury in trace amounts can induce Psychosis. I read that in a random science magazine a few years ago, hope that satisfies some lusts for a random bit of knowledge!
