ABOUT ME

I am from the UK originally but have been living in B.C., Canada for a few years and am hoping to be here for life now. I have travelled a lot and I can honestly say that B.C. is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. Living in a place that takes your breath away on a daily basis changes your life and the way you see the world in such a way that words can not even define.
I have a huge variety of interests, many of which focus on being outdoors and active. I love to be with nature - in the mountains, by the sea, in the forest - and think there is nothing better than the smell of dew when you open your tent in the morning.
I have had the travel bug for many years now and travel whenever I can. I am a daydreamer at times but I make sure that the best ones always come true! I'm a chatterbox and full of life, and I love to share stories and ideas with other people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couchsurfed in several places throughout the USA and other countries. We've recently moved into a new place so I'm glad to say that I may finally be able to host again!
I stayed with the Couch Burners camp at Burning Man in 2010 and I have to say that the experience has changed my life. I met some incredible people with whom I was fortunate enough to share one of the best weeks of my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since discovering couchsurfing I have discovered a completely different way to travel and experience the world. I have always believed that the only real way to know a place is to know its people, and couchsurfing has enabled me to meet many amazing people in amazing places.
Although my own situation has only lent to hosting once so far, I have surfed throughout North America and hope to continue to meet equally wonderful people as I travel through Europe and South America during the course of the next few years. Now that I have a couch again I look forward to hosting!
