Overview
About Me
At the moment I am a homeless traveller, woofing around Southern France. Next month I head to South America.
I'm looking for ecological/off-grid projects to participate in.
I'm originally from Poland, my parents moved to Kassel, Germany when I was 2.
In August I finished my studies in German and Spanish and have worked as a bartender for the last 5 years. I'm also a tailor.
I love everthing that differs from the norm, while there is none.
Prefer being to having and breathing to striving.
My great love is nature. There I can breathe and feel at home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the concept of sharing. I don't want to own and I am reducing consumption. We don't need much actually and by sharing we have everything.
Interests
I love nature, sports, musik, rain, the sun and explore new places.
Animals, plants.
Everything that's ancient.
The reflection of sparkling objects. Above all the sea surface. Heaven mirrowing in puddles - I can walk on clouds then.
Swiming in a lake, that is so could I can't tell anymore where my skin ends end the water begins.
Climbing.
Rest and agitation, both are equaly important to me.
Also a brimfull glass of wine, an exciting conversation, encounter the unexpected.
Party untill 12 in the morning? day? Falling asleep at 10 p.m. while reading the first pages of a not at all boring book.
Collecting and inventing words.
Dreaming of moving out into the wild...
Being... (sometimes I arrive at just being... great moments)
- animals
- books
- wine
- partying
- reading
- music
- sports
Music, Movies, and Books
I like Trip Hop, Downtempo, Ambient, Pop, melancholic tunes
Radiohead, Portishead, Lamb, Massive Attack...
as well as peculiar alternative films. The last ones I liked where birdman and les amants de point neuf.
Gus van Sant.
Mullholland Drive...
As a student of language and literature I should have read the whole world literature at least. sure. I love words and letters and paper and those ancient book-books , but it's hard to find a book that ties me till the end.
I love poetry.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
As I love the air and height, I did a drop from 2.000m on a birthday, but there are still a lot more amazing things to do.
(Actually it wasn't even as amazing as I had expected.)
Teach, Learn, Share
teach: that time is relative, sewing, German, saving energy in the household
learn: how to appreciate small talk and bad jokes and taking life easier
share: moments of happiness without reason
What I Can Share with Hosts
Empathy and interest and semi-philosophical considerations about everything around and in us. And about the fact that it's not much difference between both :)
Sense of humour, appreciation of the little details in life, that happen to be the sources of luck.
Friends say I have a calming nature, I would love to take away a bit of the speed of everyday life.
