Thanks for checking out my profile. Well, let's see.. My name is Kata, I'm 25. I live in Hungary.
I'm an aquarius, vegetarian, animal and nature lover. I love listening to music, dancing and singing the songs, even though I haven't been blessed with a nice voice. (So, sorry in advance if you have to hear me singing.) I believe that with some kindness and love we could make the world a better place. So, be kind, smile at a stranger, help someone for no benefit, always say thank you and just hope for the best. It'll all come back to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It has always been my dream to grab a backpack and hit the road, but somehow I've never had the courage to get going. But now it's the time. I finally start my journey.
(Btw, I almost did it a couple of years ago, but then I let my friends to talk me out of it. That's why I'm a member since 2015 and have 0 references. :D)
I've been through some tough times lately, so I'm hoping for this jouney to heal my wounds, my soul and help me find my purpose in life.
I'd love to see beautiful places, meet interesting people, try new things and learn about different cultures.
Hopefully we both can learn something from each other.

Interests

I love taking pictures, about anything what catches my eyes.
I'm interested in art, museums, sightseeing, architecture, gastronomy and all cultural stuff.
Also, would love to go hiking, swimming in the sea or just being out in the nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music. I know lot of people say that, but I really mean it. I can find at least a couple of songs what I like, in every music style. However, here are some of my favorites: Hozier, Momford & Sons, Royal Blood, Florence + the Machine, Tame Impala, Cage the Elephant, Alt-J, Panic!at the Disco, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Kings of Leon, 21 Pilots, Kaleo and so on..

Movies.. well I'm more like a series person. I love Black Mirror, Stranger Things, Friends. Orange is the new black, Supernatural, The Big Bang Theory, and I like movies as well of course. However I don't really have a favorite one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm.. I haven't done anything heroic in my life yet. Hopefully I will one day.
But I'm kinda proud and happy that I became vegetarian. More like, that I could do it from one day to another. I just decided one night and I did not eat meat since that moment. It has been almost 4 years now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cooking skills, if you want I will cook some delicious hungarian food for you (only vegetarian of course).
