About me: this month (july28-august28) I live in Italy, Bosentino and I am an au pair (babysitter) there. I am free at the weekends and I would like to see as much as possible in the sorrounding areas.
I study at university to eventually become an English and Italian language teacher, so I speak these two languages fluently. Actually the main goal of my stay in Italy is to improve my linguistic skills. However, I feel extremely lucky that I can do it in the Dolomites.

I am a 23-year-old girl, I love hiking, cooking, talking with friends while listening to music, eating the home made food and drinking cheap/better wine or beer, depends on the food (I am not such a gourmet, I can tolerate drinking without home made food as well :P), going to concerts, exploring new places and planning my trips to be as cheap as possible. I would like to help you do the same if you would stay with me.
I am in Győr at the weekends throughout the year, so I can offer our sofa only from Friday to Sunday.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the easiest and cheapest way of travelling, and for a uni student like me there won't be any better opportunity. Also the offer of couchsurfers to make you see their home through their eyes is very tempting. Aand you will have friends from all around the world. How cool is that?

Interests

I feel like home in the nature. The smells are my favourite. Horse riding is also the best outside, on the coastline or in an exotic forest.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think MUSIC is one of the best connecting forces between cultures and I love to listen to almost everything: indie rock, alternative rock, classical, folk, sometimes even pop, swing, rock, funky, jazz... Well I can find good songs in almost every genre.
I would be glad if we could exchange musical knowledge as well, because I feel that each country has great music and bands hidden behind its borders, and it is a great passion of mine to get to know new songs. If you are interested I won't leave you without good Hungarian music either. :P

Books: my favourite writer is Hungarian, Wass Albert. The best trilogy in the world: The Lord of the Rings️ My favourite character is Samwise Gamgee cause he is the most loyal friend I've ever "known".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam into a small cave in the sea in Croatia. It was extremely cold although the temperature outside was at least 30°C.
Stayed in a bivacco (a refuge in the mountains free of charge) in the Italian Dolomites.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My hospitality, my free time, my family, my friends, my cat, everything... Kidding. So I will be there for you to give you advices on where to go, what to see, and also when my time allows me I will take you to explore the city centre and to eat some delicious food and experience the best cheap bars where I've spent my high-school years. Also, if you come when there's a good concert or organisation somewhere in the town, maybe a Hungarian band performs, you bet I will take you.
If you need more free time without me, you shall have it, I won't bother you if you want to spend some time alone or with your travel buddy, just let me know. ;)
