About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To save the world('s water resources)

ABOUT ME

Four years ago, I'd never been to Europe before so instead of taking the normal approach of doing a 1-2 month backpacking trip across the continent I decided to just move here. Why not, eh? So I went to study in Belgium and got myself a Masters in Water Resources Engineering. Belgium was interesting, and the beer is great.

After graduating I got a job in the UK and now work as a hydrologist for an environmental consulting company. Ask me about rivers...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to get to know other travellers, learn from them, and help people out with my own knowledge/experience when I can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only surfed a couple times and haven't had the opportunity to host, but I've been to a lot of meetings in cities I've lived in and met up with some CouchSurfers in places I've visited. I've been blown away by the friendliness of all the people I've met through this site.

Some of my favourite authors are Barbara Kingsolver, Douglas Coupland and Ursula Le Guin but I haven't been reading much fiction recently.

I would be happy to share my extensive knowledge of the British craft beer scene. :)
