Interests

I'm a pretty restless one, so sports and traveling fill a lot of my free time. However, I regularily have to 'feed' my soul by some good read, music or film.

Music, Movies, and Books

All depends on the mood, of course. Current favourites: Kusturica (THE film producer), Dalida (THE musician), any gypsie music, books: Adrian Mole's diaries are making me laugh these days (I'm re-reading them, they are always a treat)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm proud of ascending a mountain 4000 m high and skiing down. But the recent amazing thing I've seen are two crazy basejumpers who jumped from the edge of Verdon gorge in France. That's approximately 700 meters high and very narrow in the bottom. Did not see them land, I hope they made it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, some would say I'm quite a cook: I say it all depends on the ingredients and imagination. Then, I can speak french well enough to survive in a french-speaking country without getting misunderstood (but that does not guarantee I'm a good teacher).
I like to gain knowledge (and skills) about many, many things. Anything from culture and literature to giving first aid will get my attention.
