About Me

Who am I... (humming Les Miserablebles) IP lawyer by trade, cat's servant by some terrible mistake, dog's family by choice, passionate reader by hobby, traveller and sailor by restlessness and human rights activist by constant (anger) need to make the world better one step at a time. Oh, and I really like boardgames. Boardgames rule.
My day never has enough time in it, beer always runs out too quickly and how did the night dare to end when we still have so much to discuss.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people. Duh. People are awesome. They have stories, glimpses of their culture, all the different views. But I also became sort of spoiled... Even though now most of the times I can afford a hostel, it turns out it's, like, no fun at all. No cool people to point me in the right direction in the city, no anecdotes to share, just some too comfortable bed. I honestly prefer sleeping of the floor and having good company.

Music, Movies, and Books

It is like asking someone to name their favourite child. I refuse this harassment. I have my book of a day or movie of a day, and currently favorite music is Hamilton, favourite series - Battlestar Galactica (and Terry Jones' Medieval Lives), and favourite movie - Genius. Oh, I dig Marvel movies, too. And Star Wars. And did I mention Hamilton?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- jumped the ship in the middle of the Baltic Sea, deciding that managing on my own on an island I don't know with almost no money is better than a week with a crew of racists, sexists and homophobes

Teach, Learn, Share

Law is cool and IP law even better! But with that I will only torment volunteers. I'm up to date with politics, have a head full of books and stories, can make Polish traditional cuisine into vegan version (most of the times) and talk to really big crowds without flinching. I love to meet new people, hear the stories they carry with them, share experiences and knowledge. All knowledge is worth having. And cakes. All the cakes are also worth having.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Undying enthusiasm and severe sleep deficiency ("just one more episode/chapter/dance/song/whatever!"). Also good coffee, decent tea, Netflix, Cards Against Humanity and a tiny gardenish yard.

Countries I’ve Visited
