ABOUT ME

My friends asked about me would probably say I'm extremely enthusiastic but little absent-minded person who always reaches her goals and makes dreams come true. Being lively and ironic I always amuse my friends and relatives. On the other hand I'm responsible person and you can always rely on me.

PHILOSOPHY

'If you are going to hide your face - just go out naked!' - this is my favourite quote of polish satirist S.J. Lec who I always admired because of specific sense of humour. According to the quotation, my personal philosophy is to always face new challenges, courageously.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Once I realized how many people who share the same interests as mine are CS members I decided to sign in :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, first time I was surfing on Iceland, where I spent my summer 2012. Me and my friend were wandering almost 4 weeks through this beautiful country. Even though we had tents to camp, we also were hosetd by Couchsurfers. It was really amazing because we could have known Icelandic way of life better. I've hosted some quests in Cracow where I currently live and every time it was an amazing experience. I've couchsurfed in Spain when I spent half of the year 2014 during my student exchange. Honestly, I think I will never get tired of Couchsurfing :)

Interests

As regards my personal lifestyle it is nomadic and well-ordered at the same time. I study and work a lot but if possible I take my rucksack, tent and a sleeping bag and I wander. I absolutely enjoy long journeys and nature, especially mountains and wild places. In my spare time I also read and write a lot. My biggest hobby is football (soccer). Currently I'm playing for my University Women Futsal Team. I have been a fan of FC Barcelona since was six. During my student exchange in Barcelona I have watched the games very often and if possible I could settle in Cam Nou :D. In addition, I love to learn new cuisines (I eat a lot) and languages :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Godfather, Game of thrones, Jurrasic Park (I'm a great fan of T-rex!), Into the wild, Cohen's movies, Reservoir Dogs and other Tarantino's movies, documental movies, footages.

Music: I love all the good music.

Books: fantasy, travelling books, reportages, political and historical books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two moments that definitively left me awestruck are:
- wandering through the National Park of Icelandic West Fjords (it took few long days, was exhausting, nevertheless really worth seeing - polar foxes, seals, huge cliffs falling to the Ocean and a dead silence are the best memories I've ever filed in my mind)
- sleeping in one of the Manhattan's shelters during "Irene" hurricane (I was in NY with my friends when "Irene" came and we had no place to sleep so we decided to get placement in the shelter, fortunately nothing drastic happened but i I still remember that crazy hurricane day)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach u how to smile sincerely and how to play football.
I would like to learn spanish well.
What can I share? My optimism and a travel experience :)
