ABOUT ME

I think that life is too short to care a lot about how to describe myself. Since I was born in gemini sign - two persons in one body, all my good characteristics are half-half represented with my bad characteristics, so I can´t really say how I am... And that´s how it is:-) Nevertheless I don´t like laziness and always try to be as active as possible. On the other hand, sleeping is a good way how to overcome a rainy afternoon...:-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Before I ever knew that there is a couchsurfing (or even internet) community, me and my family were always open to welcome people from abroad in our home. This is how we built up a long lasting friendship with a great people from the U.S., who came to visit our city just after the iron curtain fell down and accidentally were searching for a place to stay and this is how we met also incredibly nice family from Germany. After few years when I went to school (still before the CS was created :-) ) I always participated on student exchanges and welcomed in my house many students, members of orchestras or young people coming to my hometown. Still I am a member of an intercity partnership which works similarly to CS and I love to take part on creating a program for our friends from France. It´s not always easy, it takes a lot of time, but this is what shaped my style of life and what taught me a lot. The highest value from these activities are friendship and foreign language practice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was travelling across Denmark with my friend from Lithuania. It was one of the best experience of my life and I met incredible people.

Interests

Everything what keeps me active and up to date. Sports, foreign languages, reading, playing the flute, saxophone, travelling, meeting new people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can´t say, because I dont´t want to discriminate the other amazing things I have done/seen. But to be a bit clearer: I swam with whalesharks in Mexico, I fed and washed old and sick elephants in Thailand, I slept in Sahara desert, I went to the Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea.......

I can share my passion for learning foreign languages. And if you want I could teach you some basics of how to keep bees :-) My family is passionate about our bees and we are proud producers of honey :-)
