I have finished my degree and wanted to take a year off before I started working professionally. For the first 7 months I was an Au Pair in Germany (very responsible living in someone elses home and caring for their children ;) ;) ) and now I am travelling around the UK before I set up camp in Naples for 5 weeks doing a volunteer program. I have travelled to many parts of Europe/ Asia and my thrill in life is meeting new people and eating new food.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find in hostels I end up I meeting alot of Australians and not so many of the locals so I am really looking to meet fun people who are happy to let me couch surf with them for a couple of days so I can get a great feel of the country I am visiting.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music that makes you want to dance. I am always very open to other people showing me their favourite music. I love books about war, just read some of Ken Folletts work and an Australian author Belinda Alexandra is excellent. Any foreign book does the job as I love learning about other cultures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Actually went to Germany and learnt German (very bloody difficult), I don't know why I picked german. But I had a dream to learn a language and I saw that through.
