My name is Kate, I'm from Canada but got back from France where I lived for a year ! I was working as an au pair in a lovely family.
I love travelling and meeting new people (hence moving to France).
ps: if you don't know what an au pair is, it's basically like a nanny but without all the cleaning.

I find the general idea of Couch surfing to be AMAZING! You get to meet locals while you travel in different cities, and as we all know, locals know the best places to hangout or get a bite to eat. Hotels get boring and lonely!

When I get on my feet, I will definitely be offering my couch for couch-surfers from around the globe.

Too many!!
I love swimming, reading, watching movies, listening to music, watching TV shows.... I might have a slight problem with TV show.. I watch to many.My current favourites are: Arrow, The Flash, Once Upon A Time, Doctor Who, Teen Wolf, Friends, New Girl, Supernatural, Game Of Thrones..... I think that's enough now...

but the thing I like doing most of all is singing at the top of my lungs and dancing while driving ... Even at red lights.

(most listened song on my itunes library is : Mr Brightside - The Killers)

I listen to all sorts of music, it depends on my mood really. I must admit my iTunes library takes up most of the room on my computer , my CD collection is quite the phenomenon, and I am a force to be reckoned with when it comes to song lyrics knowledge.

Favourite movie of all time: Princess Diaries ( I watched it at least 200 times when I was a kid) . But right now I would have to say: Deadpool

(this was seriously the hardest question I've EVER had to answer)

Favourite Book of all time: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - JK Rowling ( as if you didn't know who wrote it).

(It was the book that made me like reading when I was a kid and now I'm going to study in literature)

I was sitting in English class when my teacher gave us a list websites that had interesting job opportunities and one of them was aupairworld.net. In that 3 hour class I learned what an au pair was and I also understood that I really wanted to be one.
That night I joined their website and the rest is history. I got my diploma and a few months later I was gone to other side of the Atlantic ,by myself, to stay in a family I had only met online.

That is probably the most amazing thing I've done.
